fun & cute christmas!

I decided to do at least 1 Moxie Fab challenge this time around -- a fun & cute Christmas card. I have a hard time doing a card in just 1 category (fun & cute, graphic, shabby chic, vintage, classy, elegant, etc), so this may have some other elements in it as well, but I hope you like it!

A SWEET Birthday!!

It's time for another Pile it On challenge! This week's theme is a birthday card, which is always something you need, right? The sponsor is Hambo Stamps this week and I had fun with this cupcake digital stamp. It started out quite differently, but I did a little playing on photoshop and ended up with this great cupcake paper :) -- I'm not going to share my secrets and how-to's for that, but I love that I was able to do so much on the computer and then print it into my own custom paper!


I combined a couple of different papertrey stamps for the sentiment on the inside of the card.


And of course, I made this card for some other challenges as well, so I could "pile it on." Here's what I did:

with appreciation

Hello everyone! It's time for a new card. I've been doing a lot of graphic design lately and not a ton of card making, but here's something I got done. This is for Dawn McVey's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge#16. Here are the colors she chose for the challenge. I have to admit that I forgot about the kraft color, but it gives a nice finished look, I'd say.


If you have never looked at Dawn's blog, it's worth taking a look! She has had over 100 cards published in magazines in the past year and I really like her style. I blame her for the polka dot kick I'm on :) For the orange paper, I just creased it a few times and inked it . The "with appreciation" tag is just a clear embossed pattern by Heather Bailey, who I love! The clear embossing over the vintage cream paper gives a really elegant effect, I think (perfect for a wedding card, right?). Anyway, enjoy!
