4WD - 365

Four-wheel Drive! Today's challenge at 365 cards is to include 4 wheels on your card! I'm using this fun "Skater Kody" image from Some Odd Girl (who is our sponsor this week), so I again got it pretty easy as far as a challenge goes :) This time around I decided to keep it simple and graphic. I did most of the coloring of the image on the computer, then printed it out.  The sentiments are both stamped, then I added some charcoal colored pearls and a little glitter to the lightning bolts on Kody's shirt and skateboard. Fun and still pretty simple.  This is a fun challenge.. you could do a couple of bikes, a car or a train.... a wagon or school bus.... hmm... lots of options!!!  I can't wait to see what everyone does!

criss cross applesauce......... spiders crawling up your back.....

It's Saturday... and wow am I ready for Saturday! Today's challenge at 365 Cards is "Criss Cross Applesauce" -- just to use a criss cross pattern on your card. I was given this great vintage sewing machine image to work with from Digi Doodles, so that made the challenge pretty easy for me :)  I really love the effect of the white text background that I stamped on top of the sewing machine image on the kraft paper.  Anyway, enjoy and I hope you'll stop by 365 today and participate!

Twine-Tree-Triangle: 365 Cards!

It's time for another challenge from 365 Cards!  Today I decided to keep it simple.  The challenge is to incorporate "3 T's," which are twine, tree, and triangle.  This card uses some tree stickers, but could be easily created with basic shapes cut out of paper.  You don't have to make the tree the triangle, that's just what I did to keep it simple! :)  Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Three Cheers for Chairs! - Moxie Fab Challenge

See, I said I'd be back this weekend! I really love my Silhouette SD. This time around I used a vintage chair shape, which is perfect for the Moxie Fab "Three Cheers for Chairs" challenge.  The patterned paper is Basic Grey - one of my favorite papers ever... and yellow and gray are so fun right now!  Anyway, I tried to keep it simple.  Enjoy!

Well, it looks like I managed to forget about this post today! Today was my last day of working on the weekend for a while, so yay for that! Hopefully that means I'll be able to take better care of my blogs :)

Today's challenge on 365 Cards is to include a talking or thought bubble! I am using this cute little digital whale image from Digital Delights and the rest just kind of came together!  I have more to post this weekend, so stay tuned!
