about heidi

I am the co-creator and Creative Director of Prairie Sweet Boutique, an online design resource for photographers and papercrafters, which was founded in August of 2012.  We offer Photoshop Templates for cards, albums, Facebook Timelines, and more; digital papers, design kits and clip arts, and our inventory is always growing!  I love being able to design beautiful things that enhance something as meaningful as a portrait or family photo.

I also enjoy creating art printables with meaningful quotes, phrases, or scriptures, so Heidi Stock Printables was born.

I never thought I'd be working in the field of visual arts, as I spent all of my time in high school and college developing my musical talents.  I'm grateful to have found so much joy in my work.

I am available for part-time or short term freelance commercial design work as well.  If you are interested in learning more about my experience in this area, please contact me and I'd be happy to provide that as well as my rates, schedule, etc.

{the person}

I am a midwestern girl and I come from a very large family.  My husband Lucas is my best friend and we have 2 amazing daughters together.  We are now living in Oklahoma.  My family and my faith are extremely important to me and I am striving to grow as a child of God, a Mother, a Wife every day.  I love singing, soccer and KU Basketball (Rock Chalk!).  I love cheesy musicals and ABC Family movies.  I love music... when I'm working I love to turn on Classical or Opera.  It keeps me focused and motivated.

{creativity inspired}

"You may think you don’t have talents, but that is a false assumption, for we all have talents and gifts, every one of us. The bounds of creativity extend far beyond the limits of a canvas or a sheet of paper and do not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Creation means bringing into existence something that did not exist before – colorful gardens, harmonious homes, family memories, flowing laughter. What you create doesn’t have to be perfect… Don’t let the voices of critics paralyze you – whether that voice comes from the outside or the inside. If you still feel incapable of creating, start small. Try to see how many smiles you can create, write a letter of appreciation, learn a new skill, identify a space and beautify it."
